Smart Rules

Sage Intacct Smart Rules offer many benefits; helping enhance data accuracy, support compliance and increase efficiency.

Ensuring data integrity by enforcing specific rules and conditions, such as requiring certain fields to be populated or restrict certain actions.

Smart rules can either stop the user proceeding until the condition is met, or simply post a warning asking the user to check the data before proceeding.

In this blog we will look at creating commonly implemented Smart Rules.

To create a new smart rule you must have access to either Customisation Services or Platform Services.

This blog contains a number of examples that you might find useful for managing your Sage Intacct environment.

Smart Rules work by identifying bad data then they either prevent the action or warn the user.

The bad data is identified by a condition, this triggers an action as required.
