Exchequer OLE Add-In Installation

This post details the Exchequer OLE Add-Ins to Microsoft Excel. This process must be done for all users individually who require access to the Exchequer OLE functions and assumes an Exchequer workstation setup has already been performed on the PC.
Accessing the Add-Ins Window
Open Microsoft Excel, click the File button at the top left and select Excel options.


Within Excel options select Add-ins on the left, confirm Excel Add-ins is selected at the bottom of the window then click Go...

You will now be presented with the following screen:

Adding the Exchequer OLE Add-ins
Within the Add-ins window click Browse...

Browse to the Exchequer folder on your mapped drive and selected the Add-in ENTFUNCS.xla. Click OK.

When a Microsoft Excel query box appears, select No. You should not copy the Exchequer OLE Add-Ins to the user's machine as they will not be upgraded when an upgrade is run on the Exchequer system, which may lead to you missing out on new functionality.

Repeat this process for the remaining Exchequer OLE Add-Ins so that they have been added in the following order:
+ ENTFUNCS.XLA
+ ENTGL.XLA
+ ENSTK.XLA
+ ENTFUNC2.XLA*
+ ENTGL2.XLA*
+ ENTSTK3.XLA*
+ ENTXAPPS.XLA**
+ ENTDATA.XLA
+ ENTDRILL.XLA
Only available if the save functions have been purchased*
Only needed if the Application and Valuations module is installed**
Once completed, Click OK then close and reopen Microsoft Excel. There will now be an Exchequer menu option within the Add-Ins tab.
